Baby Shower Photo Ideas

A picture can speak a thousand words, so here are a few tips on how you can create beautiful messages through photos during baby showers.

 Photo Invitations 

Using the guest of honor as the focal point, use baby illustrations or baby photos when designing your baby shower invitation. Make sure the colors still coordinate with the overall design and theme of your party! 

 Baby Shower Photo Centerpieces 

Choose the best photos from birth to teenage years. Make a collage, printing them on glossy photo paper. Next, use them to cover vases for your floral centerpiece. If you're working on a tight budget, you can use the pictures on plain glass bottles and they will still look great. Your guests will be too busy oohing and aahing over your baby pictures to care! 

 Guess Who Baby Photos 

One of our favorite baby shower photo ideas, you'll need to be really creative for this task, but don't worry, the fun and laughter you'll get will be more than worth your trouble. Ask your guests to bring at least one baby picture of themselves then collect them when they arrive at the shower. 

During the shower, show the selected photos to the group and reward the guests who can correctly identify the owners of the photos. Make sure you warn your guests against cheating! 

 Photo Scrapbooks 

Another fun but somewhat time consuming activity for your guests is making a photo scrapbook. Ask your guests to bring several photos of themselves as babies, photos of them with the guest of honor, and any other photos that remind them of baby showers. You will need to prepare a set of art supplies and materials for each table. You can give one scrapbook paper per table or individual, depending on your budget and preferences.  

Give a prize to the most creative scrapbook page making sure to collect all scrapbook pages and present it to your guest of honor. 

 Portrait Souvenirs 

Take lots of pictures of the baby shower and inform your guests that you'll have them printed and mailed out as souvenirs.  Make sure you have a sample ready so they'll know what they can look forward to. You can allow your guests to choose which photo they'd like you to send to them or if you are artistic, you can use them all and create a beautiful photo mosaic.
